Gotta brush up on your Twinkie math
Twinkies were introduced to the world in the 1930s. These tiny cakes were a way to help bakers make use of old shortbread pans that were no longer in demand. They originally used bananas and strawberries, but during WW2, banana imports came to a halt, and bakers filled Twinkies up with vanilla cream instead.
These delicious little cakes are almost completely air, including the whipped cream filling. So, if you were to compact them by removing all of the air, you could fit roughly three Twinkies in the same space as a single intact cake. Or you could stuff three of them in your mouth and forget about doing quick Twinkie maffs.
