More grip in the winter
Driving on icy roads is no fun. Especially if you have a rear-wheel-drive car. They are more difficult to handle because vehicles are lighter on the back end, and they don’t have enough weight to push the rear wheels downwards and get a good grip.
A solution to this problem is to place some weight in the trunk of the car. If you are thinking about what you should use as weight – you could buy a few bags of rock salt. It could come in handy if you get stuck somewhere and need additional friction to get out.
