Stop hitting the garage back wall
Reversing into your garage can sometimes result in hitting the wall with the back of your car. And you can hit the back wall even if you are going front first. Maybe it’s a new car, and you are still getting used to the dimensions (in which case it hurts even more), or you forgot your contact lenses. There are many reasons why this happens but don’t worry, there is a simple solution.
You can make a simple contraption with a tennis ball and a piece of rope. Park ideally, then measure the distance between your front or back windshield (whichever way you prefer to park). Then simply set up the tennis ball to hang from the ceiling at that perfect distance. So, the next time you park, you will hit the ball, and it will notify you when you have reached that ideal parking position.
