Matthew Fox
In 1994, Matthew Fox got his lucky break when he snagged the starring role as Charlie Salinger in the TV series Party of Five, co-starring Scott Wolf, Neve Campbell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Lacey Chabert. In 1996, People Magazine named Matthew one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. On the heels of that success, he landed the role of Dr. Jack Shephard in “Lost” which was one of the most popular TV shows of all time. Sadly, his movie career never really took off. Alex Cross flopped at the box office and his role in the acclaimed World War Z was left mostly on the cutting room floor.
The Lost Star
Matthew has also had to deal with negative publicity such as allegations of punching a female party bus driver after she refused to let him board her vehicle in Cleveland, Ohio. Thankfully, the lawsuit against him was dropped so he was never officially charged or sentenced for the incident but he suffered incredibly bad press proving that the phrase, “innocent until proven guilty” doesn’t apply to celebrities. Unfortunately, sometime later Fox was arrested near his home in Bend, Oregon, for driving under the influence and entered a plea of no contest to one count of DUI. The Lost star’s last official acting appearance took place in 2015. It’s rumored that he is now into photography. It’s not clear if that is his new profession or just a hobby.
