Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe has had an amazing career. Starting with LA Confidential and right through Les Misérables, he was one of the most sought-after actors. Unfortunately, his 15-year marriage to Australian actress Danielle Spencer ended in divorce and the trauma has taken its toll on the talented star. Regarding his divorce auction (where he auctioned off his belongings), he said, “It’s taken me 12 months, choosing the articles and how they balance with each other. It’s been joyful. I’m kind of excited to see what happens.”
Russ Le Roq
Here’s another actor who has always wanted to be a rock star. Russell actually pursued his music career for quite some time. He started out singing under the stage name of Russ Le Roq (haha get it, roq = “rock”). Unfortunately or fortunately, as the case may be, very few remember his first single in 1982 titled, “I want to be like Marlon Brando.” When his solo act didn’t take off he formed a rock group named 30 Odd Foot of Grunts. The band played their first American gig in Austin Texas and tickets reportedly sold on eBay for $500 each. The band also performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 1992.
