Viola Davis and Julius Tennon
When actor Julius Tennon met Viola Davis he was literally the answer to her prayers! “I was the loneliest woman in the world, and someone said, ‘You should just pray for a husband,” Viola Davis told The New York Post. So she prayed for a Southern black man who looked like a football player and three and a half weeks later, she met former football player Julius Tennon. The pair shared a scene on the television show City of Angels. He knew how lonely she was and he said, ‘I’ll show you around Santa Monica pier.” They’ve been married for 15 years now and have one adopted daughter together.
