Ye has decided to stray over to a mentality and standpoint in the world that borders on white supremacist thinking patterns. Multiple big brands including Adidas slowly dropped support from him even after having years of backing because of how far this has gone.
Now, his hatred and big use of free speech and platform to continue harmful rhetoric is emboldening dangerous individuals and groups around the world that have stayed a little quieter for some time. Supremacists and bigots are quoting Kanye as if that makes them “right”.
It really is quite the mess. We all know that Ye has had mental health issues and quite a lot of back and forth mentality with things, but straying this far into dangerous concepts especially with such a large amount of money and speaking power is sparking debate worldwide.
