What could be more romantic than getting married on New Year’s Eve? A new start to a new year, that’s how actress Kathy Griffin and her long-time partner Randy Bick celebrated their happy union. “Happy New Year — and, surprise! We’re getting married!” they posted on social media. The couple exchanged vows shortly after the clock struck midnight, in a ceremony officiated by fellow actress and friend Lily Tomlin.
The surprise ceremony took place in their Beverly Hills home, and included close family and friends. The comedian and her boyfriend embarked on their romance in 2012, and after seven years, in 2019, they separated for a short period. The comedian shared that after long discussions of the venue, they both agreed their home – the place where they have shared moments filled with joy and laughter – was the best place to finally tie the knot. The bride’s dress, appropriately, was the one she wore for their first date eight years ago.
