Bill and Hillary Clinton
How do you sum up these two major figures in US history? In two words, you don’t. We’d need to write a book just to cover their lifelong achievements. Whether you are Republican or Democrat you have to admit they’ve had a real impact on America. Born in 1946, Bill Clinton served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001. He presided over the longest period of peacetime economic expansion in American history and signed into law the North American Free Trade Agreement. Hillary Clinton was not only his First Lady but served as the junior U.S. Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009 and 67th United States Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. She was the Democratic Party’s nominee for President of the United States in the 2016 election. While she lost, her legacy lives on.
