55. Black and white
Black and white is a classic combination; it was a popular style throughout the eighties, but it never really went out of fashion. It’s no secret that Kate Middleton is a fan of coat-dresses, and she attended the Order of the Garter ceremony in June 2019 wearing a Catherine Walker black and white coat dress and a black headpiece.
It seems as if almost every dress she wears is the work of a different designer, although they are similar in style, and we can see the Duchess has a specific style she prefers – coat dresses. It’s no surprise, since the English weather requires appropriate clothing.
