This photos was taken almost three decades ago, on a royal trip to France in 1992, and it goes to show that Queen Elizabeth was always a fan of bright colors. We’ve revealed her secret for always wearing bold colors, and we’re not sure whether this is her decision, or instructions from above. Who gives instructions to the queen, anyway?
The colorful dresses are what makes the queen’s style quite different than the rest of the royal family. While they don’t shy away from colors (we’ve seen Kate Middleton in purple and green), they usually opt for delicate, pastel shades, unlike the neon colors which characterize the queen.
