Emma Stone has started dating comedian and Saturday Night Live segment director Dave McCary under our noses, and the couple recently got engaged. Apparently, they have been dating since 2017, but did a pretty good job hiding it from the public. Only in 2019 did they make their first red carpet debut as a couple.
Their engagement, however, they didn’t try to hide, probably since they were too excited about it. McCary posted a photo of the two after the proposal, showing the ring (although blurry) and their expressions, which clearly couldn’t contain the excitement. The ring, as we can see, isn’t your typical go-to engagement ring. In fact, it doesn’t even have a diamond in the center – which is the basics for engagement rings – but a pearl.
