Not a Quitter!
In many cases, things aren’t as clear-cut as they first appear. Linda Evangelista was almost convinced to give up her career in the adult entertainment industry after a photo shoot for an adult magazine. She didn’t listen to her mother’s advice and kept going even though she wanted to give up. It took some time for people to warm up to and fall in love with her new hairstyle after she had it cut so short.
She’s famous for saying that models wouldn’t even get out of bed for less than $10,000. The advancement of medical research and the public’s understanding of a variety of disorders are two of her main focuses as an activist. VH1 Fashion Awards Lifetime Achievement Award given to her in 2003, the year she was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame.
