But the age difference is shocking, but even more weird was their love interest on screen, despite the difference.
The fact that Deschanel was just 23 years old and Ferrell was 36 years old when the movie was filmed may come as a surprise to some individuals, but the fact that they both portray romantic interests in the film does not affect the fact that they were both cast.
