Most Beautiful Women in The World

June 4, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

One Of The Most Famous Stars Of The 1940s

To replace Rita Hayworth, one of the most popular stars of the 1940s, and to compete with 20th Century Fox’s Marylin Monroe, Kim Novak was hired by Columbia Pictures in the 1950s.

Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo made her a legend in the film industry. When Novak retired from acting in the early ’90s, she had only been on the small screen once or twice since the mid-’60s. In 2010, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that she is still with us thanks to the effectiveness of her therapy.
