Peter Osaze Odemwingie is a Nigerian player born on 15th of July 1981, in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union to a Nigerian father Peter Odemwingie Snr and a Russian mother Raisa. He started playing football in 1994 in the youth teams of Kamaz and CSKA Moscow. Osaze joined Nigeria national football team in 2002.
He has played for seven different clubs Bendel Insurance, La Louvière, Lille, Lokomotiv Moscow, West Bromwich Albion and Cardiff City football club before joining his current club Stoke City, on January 28, 2014, he plays as a forward and winger for the club.
