Oritse Femi attended Mayday Secondary School in Ikoyi and later switched to Tolu Primary School in Ajegunle. He had his secondary school education in Randle Secondary School and proceeded to study law at Delta State University in Abraka, but dropped out to concentrate on his music career.

Femi has been singing right from his secondary school days, he performed at parties and social gatherings in Ajegunle, and he was a member of Cherubim and Seraphim choirs. He later joined a musical group called ‘The Junglist’ before they broke up in 2006 and he went solo. As a solo singer he released a song “Elewon” and “Flog Politician” which quickly warmed him into the hearts of Ajegunle youths.
Oritse Femi currently has a total of seven albums: Boys Dey Binu, Money Na Time, Elewon, wicked world, Unfadeables, Musical Taliban and Double Wahala. He won Best Street-Hop Artiste at the 2014 Headies Award and the Indigenous Artist of the Year award at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
