Tonya Harding
Of course, we’re talking about the infamous Tonya Harding. We’ve already talked about Nancy Kerrigan, but what about her main rival, Mary Lou Retton? Tonya Harding’s ex-husband was discovered to be the perpetrator of an attack on an Olympian ice skater as she was being escorted off the ice rink.
Because of the possibility that she was involved in the attack, Harding was permanently barred from competing in sports. Tonya was on the red carpet with Margot Robbie when she was cast as Tonya in a film some years after the original. It’s sad for such a thing to happen to anybody isn’t it
