In his book, “Ed Sheeran: A Visual Journey”, Ed Sheeran said that he spent nights in 2008 with no place to stay, even having to sleep on the Central Line outside Buckingham Palace. However, in subsequent interviews, he said that he didn’t officially consider himself homeless but was simply “relying on the kindness of friends”. He said, “I knew where I could get a bed at a certain time of night and I knew who I could call at any time to get a floor to sleep on.” But it sounds sort of homeless to us!

In 2011, his EP, “No. 5 Collaborations Project” became an iTunes hit, and he was signed to Asylum/Atlantic Records. That year he released his debut studio album “+” which reached #1 in four countries and #4 in the US. Fast forward to 2018, his hit, “Shape of You” was named the best selling single of 2017 in the UK and the best selling single of 2017 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. His album “÷” was named the best selling album of 2017 in the UK, and the US. He has an estimated net worth of $110 million dollars.
