Shockingly normal Christmas
All in all, Christmas in the Sandringham House isn’t much different from anybody else’s. The royal family spends time together, exchanges gifts, goes to church, and drink long into the night. The Christmas decorations stay up until February 6th, long after the festivities have ended. The queen keeps this tradition in remembrance of her father, who passed away when Elizabeth II was just 25 years old.
With Christmas just a couple of weeks away, we can expect the staff and the Buckingham Palace and the Sandringham House to get the trees ready for decorating. We can’t wait to hear what the queen has to say during her Christmas Speech this year!
