Why Queen Elizabeth II Doesn’t Take her Christmas Decorations Down Until February

For whatever reason, Queen Elizabeth II doubled-down on her love for Christmas decorations as soon as she took over. However, even though she was queen, there were people in her home that set out to sabotage her beloved decorations in any way they could.

When Princes William and Harry were still kids, they made it their mission to ruin grandma’s palace and Christmas decorations by any means necessary. They’d pull ornaments off of the tree and hide them all over the palace. Maybe they were sick of looking at Christmas decorations so far into January. Prince William’s own children assumed the position of decoration destroyer as soon as they could walk.
