Lady Gaga Denounces The Piracy of Her New Song by Posting a Pirated Image on Her Social Media Accounts.
A snippet from Lady Gaga’s song Stupid Love was leaked online while she was still working on what would become Chromatica, her studio album due out in 2020. At the time, she was still working on the album. Gaga, understandably, was displeased. She simply asked on Twitter, “Can y’all please stop?” she wrote.
She also included stock images of a girl wearing a ski mask and listening to a song on a music player, with the implication that she had pirated the song. Ironically, the image was emblazoned with the Shutterstock logo, which was removed. We understand what you’re saying! The official Shutterstock Twitter account responded. “We believe that artists should be compensated for their efforts as well.
