Celebs Who Act Completely Opposite to What They Preach to Their Followers

July 2, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

Despite the Fact that She has Never Voted, Paris Hilton Encourages Young People to do So.

Paris Hilton is many things: the celebutante who brought back the phrase “famous for being famous,” the owner of a brand with 19 product lines, and a successful disc jockey. What she hasn’t been accused of as much is excessive civic engagement, which is a rare occurrence. As it turns out, there’s a good reason for this. Prior to the 2004 elections, Hilton became a part of Diddy’s “Vote or Die!” campaign, which aimed to encourage young people to cast their ballots.

Paris, on the other hand, wore a T-shirt with the slogan printed on it. Despite the fact that her heart was in the right place, her voter registration was not. It was discovered through a quick investigation by the media that not only had Hilton never voted before, but she was also not even registered.
