Actually, Nick Jonas, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers, is responsible for the majority of their success (though there is another, even younger Jonas named Frankie). When he was six years old, he was discovered and referred to a showbiz manager for further development.
From there, he began to appear in juvenile roles on Broadway on a regular basis. When Nick wrote and released a song in 2003, Columbia Records took notice of what he had accomplished. They ultimately decided to sign the three brothers as a group, and the rest is history.
