Gwyneth Paltrow is an actress, and in that capacity, I believe she does an okay job. I enjoyed her portrayal of Pepper Potts, and although I may be showing my age and a preference for Jane Austen by saying this, I thought the film adaptation of Emma in which she appeared was excellent. And Sliding Doors is an intriguing film, despite the fact that I believe her British accent was one of the film’s more problematic elements.
However, Gwyneth Paltrow is no longer only known for her work as an actress. She has been working toward the goal of establishing herself as some sort of lifestyle expert for a number of years now. Her company that focuses on wellness and lifestyle, Goop, sells articles and products that range from “possibly useful” to “absolutely insane.” If you haven’t heard about the jade eggs… it’s probably for the best that you don’t know about them.
