The Don Rickles
Do you know what “insult comedy” is? A comedian’s job is easier when the audience is actively participating in the performance. Most often, it is used in connection with a toilet humour (aka, one of the best ways to get a quick laugh). He’s regarded as “The Merchant of Venom,” but Don Rickles has also perfected this art.

A funny humorist served in the Navy from 1944 until 1946 following the end of World War II, when he was awarded an honourable discharge. His ship, USS Cyrene, proceeded to PNG from Norfolk in Virginia with the sole purpose of saving lives. He travelled to areas like the Philippines, where he said that the tropics were “so hot and humid that the crew withered.”
