Bear Grylls – St. Tudwal’s West Island
Those who are looking for a more difficult outdoor experience will find what they’re looking for on this more rugged island. Bear Grylls, a well-known survivalist, made the purchase of a tiny island in the Lln Peninsula off the coast of North Wales in the year 2001. Grylls purchased the 30-acre island for a total price of $132,000, with the intention of using it as a vacation retreat.

Bear Grylls was accused of constructing a massive metal slide that descended into the ocean from a cliff in the year 2013. It was eventually taken down, and he promised that he would seek permission in the future to reinstate it if he ever wanted to.
