He was the first to demonstrate the man’s beach potential to the world
Gene in “A Separate Peace” was Parker Stevenson’s first starring role (1972). Stevenson’s first foray into the beach was in the film “Lifeguard,” where he co-starred with Sam Elliot.
On ABC’s “The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries” in the late 1970s, Stevenson appeared. He appears in “North and South: Book II” and “Rehearsal” before “Baywatch.” In 1989, he was one of the first members of the original cast of “Baywatch.”
