Gaffs on award shows aren’t something that happens all that often. Other people’s activities can have a negative impact on the event and the persons involved. A dramatic announcement by Steve Harvey, Miss Colombia was crowned the winner of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, adding a little spice to the proceedings.
The real winner, however, was Miss Philippines, who was supposed to be the runner-up. The awkward statement came after Miss Colombia had already accepted the crown and begun celebrating, and Harvey made a second appearance to make things even more awkward. We have no idea how painful the experience must have been for both of these rivals, but we can only speculate.
