Kate Upton and Justin Verlander
Model Kate Upton and Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander almost missed their own wedding. It all started when they started planning it, they never thought that Verlander’s team was going to Game 7 of the World Series, so he and his then-fiancé decided they would get married in Tuscany at the beginning of November. However, on November 2, instead of being en route to Italy for their November 4th wedding, they were in Los Angeles for Justin’s team’s 5-1 win over the Dodgers in a rare baseball match. Of course, all of their family and friends happily waited for them to join them in this picturesque and joyous wedding celebration.
Upton wore a white, bubbly ball gown with sheer lace sleeves, created by the designer Valentino. The fairy-tale-worthy frock was a fitting match for their Tuscan wedding. Overlooking the Italian landscape Kate Upton and Justin Verlander exchanged vows while their closest family and friends looked on. The location was the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, a scenic luxury hotel in the countryside of Tuscany, Italy. The flower scheme and table setting were romantic and rustic.

Fun Fact: Kate actually wore three different gowns for her wedding. The first was a red Valentino piece that matched her groom’s red tuxedo jacket. Next, she wore a classic Valentino lace gown for the ceremony and last but not least a Christy Rilling Studio dress for the reception.
