Wait a minute, you wanna be paid?
Even though some people are against unpaid internships, there’s no denying that these programs are a great way for near-graduating students to gain some real-life experience. However, these positions are usually reserved for students who are still in school and can’t dedicate their entire day to office work. This is what makes this job listing so infuriating.
First of all, a full-time position requires spending at least 40 hours at the office doing only god knows what. On top of that, you’re not getting paid, but you still have to cover transportation and meal costs. And the ironic cherry on top of it all is that this company is looking for a financial advisor who’ll work for free.
