You’re not begging enough
If we weren’t forced to write unique cover letters for every open position we apply for, finding a job would be much simpler and straightforward. Applicants can spend hours on crafting the perfect cover letter for their jobs, but what’s even more frustrating is that employers only give them a quick glance.
We sort of understand why companies require cover letters, but this person’s tweet hits the nail on the head. A cover letter is nothing short of begging for a job. Your resumé already contains all of the important information, so why force applicants to grovel for a chance to help grow your company?
